Why The Iraq War Matters

I was just thinking that if the war ends there will be a major consequence.

Opposition to the war in Afghanistan is significantly less than opposition to the war in Iraq, so the warhawk vs. peacenik aspect can be placed aside.

Now, the thing to consider is this. The war in Iraq, having its opponents and few, if any, rational justifications from its supporters, is largely in existence to give said supporters a basis, albeit a looney one, for attacking people’s patriotism, and, as we all know, when you take the bully’s toy away, he gets upset. What if Warhawkie, Jr. hurts himself during one of his tempertantrums? Do none of you feel bad about this? For shame…

  1. Ok?

  2. You have kinda put the cart before the horse.
